The micrograft hair
transplant is recommended in some cases, such as:Androgenetic
alopecia (hereditary), alopecia areata (these are patches
of baldness that can appear at any moment in one's life),
and alopecias from scarring or burns.
Micrograft hair transplants can also be done for other
areas including eyebrows, sideburns, beards, and moustaches
to hide harelips. And it is not recommended in the following
cases:When the "donating zone" is not living
and healthy, or when the alopecia is transient because
its cause is not androgenetic.
