In the 12th Annual
Meeting organized by the International Society of Hair
Restoration Surgery,
which took place in VANCOUVER, CANADA in August 2004,
we have received 2 important prizes for the innovations
performed to the method. This time it is because of
the substantial reduction of the time for social and
work reintegration, thanks to the development of a
product of our own that speeds up the disappearance
of any sign of the one by one hair transplant.
Since 1996, Hair
Recovery has dedicated time, technology and specialists
to studying innovations for their technique.
Doctors Nicolás Lusicic and Alejandra Susacasa
received a world wide prize for innovations in the technique
in San Francisco, USA in October 1999 during the VII
Annual Conference of the International Society of Hair
Restoration Surgery.

Cold Chain
In this case, the innovation consisted of devising
a cold chain that reduces the metabolism of the roots
of the hair during the whole process. After subjecting
the roots to low temperatures, the medical staff obtain
roots that conserve the quality of their components
during the entire micrograft transplant, obtaining even
longer root survival and giving much more natural results.
A three-compartment storage system for the roots, also
designed by our own technique, receives roots that are
frozen at temperatures that vary between 0 and 4 degrees
Celsius. Upon placement in the forehead of the patient,
by means of a gel, the roots are at an ideal condition
for the micrograft transplants.
The clinic has also developed the exclusive “Cold
Head Band”, an ideal complement for the treatment
that provides more comfort for the patient and better
results for the micrograft transplant.
